Lace Greeting Cards

Lace, a French word that means to lace together (pronounced la-say), is a relatively new technique in creating some wonderful handmade greeting cards. Lace involves making a pattern of cuts and folds and lacing them under and over one another achieving a wonderful pattern.
The best results are made by using a product called “duo paper”. The paper works perfectly with making lace greeting cards because the paper has one color on one side and a coordinating color on the other side. The templates for producing lace greeting cards can be purchased from The Franticstamper on the internet as well as other papercraft suppliers.
Several examples of these Lace templates are illustrated here. From these samples you can see the general format and experiment on your own. Have a great time creating your own Lace greeting cards. The results are extraordinary.
